Happy Birthday Nelson Mandela! Stars pledge 67 minutes to public service for Nelson Mandela Day – July 18th

To celebrate Nelson Mandela’s 94th birthday and Nelson Mandela Day today, a team of celebrities are throwing their weight behind a campaign to encourage people to dedicate 67 minutes of time to public service.

Desmond Tutu, Founder of Virgin group Richard Branson, One Direction,  Jamie Oliver,  Lewis Hamilton, and Manchester United are among hundreds more who have signed the Mandela Day Pledge, which is going to be compiled into a book and presented to the Nelson Mandela Foundation after today. The Official pledge book website is open for  anyone to join.
