Founder of Mahogany Model Management, Sola Oyebade said: “we are very excited at adding the exciting international element to the competition and having models from across the world compete in the competition. Based on the modelling industry in the UK currently, there is no doubt that the industry generally has not yet realised, or is not yet willing to accept the need for employing and using more models of colour in their advertising campaigns. Top Model of Colour will continually play a pivotal role in promoting models of colour and to be a catalyst for change in the industry”.

OK! Nigeria loved last year’s winner Janita Francis and she has since appeared in OK! Nigeria Magazine as the first ever beauty model to be featured with a four page spread.
