OK! Nigeria Review: Meet the Adebanjo’s, Catford Broadway Theatre, London
The Adebanjo family and friends managed to inflict outbursts laughter to a very receptive audience by playfully incorporating the feisty Nigerian culture with comedic scenarios. The characters were very engaging and full of energy with brilliant one-liners from father Bayo, wife Gladys and the mischievous teenagers Sade, Toby and neighbour Kevin. There were also side-splittingly entertaining scenes featuring the infectious Aunty Funke, wacky cousin Femi and the outrageously funny Pastor Michael.
The live shows definitely brought the UK Nigerian sitcom series to life, overall an enjoyable experience for all. OK! eagerly awaits more live shows in future and encourages you to check out the next season of the TV series coming soon – definitely worth the watch.
